Welcome to the 4 th Branislav “Brano” Radovančević Heart Failure Forum.
This Forum is organized by joined effort of Dedinje Cardiovascular Institute, Belgrade, Serbia, Texas Heart Institute at St. Luke's Episcopal Hospital, Houston , Texas , USA and Advanced Heart Failure and Transplantation Programme, Department of Cardiology, University Medical Center Ljubljana, Slovenia.
The faculty of the Brano's Heart Failure Forum has established international reputation as leader in their fields. The intended transition from partially sterile, “annual meeting type of lecturing”, to the lively interactive discussion between the presenters, faculty panel and the audience, gives the unique flavor and tempo to Brano's Forum.
Heart Failure Forum 2011 offers a comprehensive review on the state of the art treatment of acute heart failure, medical and surgical management in heart failure, percutaneous interventions in heart failure, mechanical circulatory support and heart transplantation. Numerous workshops are tailored to introduce innovations, new technologies and treatment strategies in heart failure.
The main goal of this forum is to provide continuing education and interdisciplinary interaction as the basis for further improvements in both survival and quality of life for heart failure patients.
Heart Failure Forum 2011 supports mentoring mission by featuring »Basics of heart failure treatment for young practitioners« workshop, created specifically for Residents and Fellows.
All participants will receive CME credits.
